Future Aggies?!

This one is for ncle Joel :).
It is Anti-drug week at school for both kids. "Put a cap on drugs", and somehing where they needed a jersey. Both of them were drawn to Texas A & M. This could be due to the Aggie gifts since birth, just saying :) They love him, so his love for the school is catching. Althought Midget calls it the ATM school that her uncle likes.

We went to the children's museum for their halloween stuff. The kids had fun. Here is monkey's new board, he rode his other so much it was about to spit in 2!!!

Boo!!

We Boo'd the neighors. It's supposed to go door to door. We did it in the old neighborhood. Hopefully it spreads some fun. The kids loved seaking around. They made a stealth plan, ran, rang and ran off.

Pumpkin Patch

I love going to the pumpkin patch. The colors are so pretty. The kids had a great time. Monkey brought his friend, such a nice kid. He's sleeping over, so we are going to have girl night :)

Long Weekend...

We have a 3 day weekend this week, and it's been pretty fun. It's cool outside finally. Not for long it seems though. We'll take it while we can. Midget has a pair of ugg boots we got in Kuwait, these are her absolute favorite shoes. She would wear them all day everyday. We tried to ignore the fact they are 2 sizes too small, okay maybe 3. I had gotten her a pair at target last year, hoping they would appease her, they didn't. Apparently they are not as soft inside. So Friday we were going out to dinner, and we saw a sign at the shoe store 50% off. They were not really, Monkey said it was false advertising. Life lessons are hard to learn :) We got her a pair, they were nearly half off, and she loves them. I went ahead and got the spray to make them waterproof, and got a size big so they will last longer. She is so happy, she slept in the things. Go figure. Saved us a trip to Kuwait for now...
Monkey is all back into his skateboarding. He's learning to Ollie, and it's killing me. I keep waiting for the fall, or the crack of something. I think i prefer his nerdy side. It's safer.
We went to a craft show at the church yesterday, and got some xmas presents. One for dad, and one for grandpa. Midget got some clothes for her doll. The nicest lady makes them herslef, sweet grandmomtherly lady. Midget loved her. So now her doll even has a halloween costume.
We're lounging around today, doing nothing. Monkey's friend spent the night. They loved going through his house yesterday. They are from Trinidad, and had some arabic prayers on the wall. Midget remembered some of the letters. It was funny to see their faces when she started saying them. They were surprised to say the least. She got her report card, and did really well. Monkey's got mixed up in teh computer, so we don't have it yet. His teacher actually came out the the car to make sure i didn't accuse of him of lying, she said she wouldn't have believed it if her son said it to her. That was funny.
We're moving along here. We miss their dad alot. Hopefully we can see him soon. I guess i need to see if Midget has ballet tomorrow. They don't have school, so i wonder if she does? We took a mental health day last week and missed. Shameful i know, but with tae kwan do 2 days, and ballet the other, it's nice to take a break one day. It isn't that much, but it seems like it sometimes. Going to watch a movie with the kids, and enjoy the cool weather.

Bullies

Poor midget has a bully in her class. He's been hitting the girls! I mean actually punching them. He hit one of her friends in the face! Who does that? I mean, really.. Who lets there little boy punch people in the face, let alone a girl. What is wrong with people? Of course, the school sends notes home to his parents, but that is it. Makes me sad, and makes me wonder what on earth is going on in that poor little guys life though to make it seem okay to keep hitting people in the class. However, it's going to get ugly if he punches my daughter again.
Well, we have lots of homework, and baths. we have one hour to get baths, homework and bed. Grey's anatomy, a slice of lemon pie and 2 sleeping kids :)

Ysterday we wanted to watch a movie but the dvd player wasn't hooked up right. i couldn't get it to work. So, who fixes it? The 10 yr old. Sure, why not? He pulls the cabinet out with my help, and 20 minutes later he fixed it. Why is it he can't clean his room again?
Midget took a little nap, with Sheldon. She fell asleep with the comic book over her hed, and sheldon all bundled up. I moved the book, and they were holding hands. How sweet is that?! He likes her best sleeping :)

i got thes for midget, now i am on amission cause mnkey wants some too. They glow in the dark! I had promised midget some rollers for her hair, to see what they did. She thought it was the coolest thing ever :)

he did so good at his belt test! I am so proud of my little man. He mispronounced some of his words, but i think i taught him wrong, but i don't know korean...

We will find out if he gets his stripe next week. A wink from his master and i think it's a done deal :)
