Xmas fun :)

We've been crazy busy around here!! We've had class parties, cookies to make, presents to make and buy. Midget had a ballet show, that was really neat. she got to see the bigger girls dance on their toe shoes. She was completely memerized. IT's been a madhouse, fun though. We've been to the nutcracker, seen a festival of lights, all kinds of holiday fun.

long weekend

We had a busy weekend. Went to a birthday party for some good friends twin girls. Midget loves those babies. It's awfully sweet. Their son is 2 weeks younger than monkey is. So it feels as if after all the years of parties and weddings we are family in a way. I love her mom, and they are such awesome grandparents. They took monkey to a xmas concert with them. 5 kids they took! He had lots of fun, but he got scared at their house so at 11 i went in a sleep stuper to pick him up. He was embaressed, but it was no big deal. He's slept there before, so must of been a movie or something :)
Midget and i went and got his xmas present for him from her. her dad gave her a certain amount, and she picked a good one! He has been snooping under the tree and has deemed himself an C.P.I. = Certified Present Inspector.

Snow

We had quite a bit of it!! They even got to make a small snowman. these two mean, evil teen girls kicked it over! Poor midget watched them do it from the window, crying. It was awful. I ran out and asked them if it felt good to make a 7 yr old cry. I had to stop monkey from running after them. Other than that though, they had tons of fun!!

elf update

Our elf Fred has been busy! A little bit of a trouble maker too! here are a couple places he has turned up..


He ossed some laundry, and ended up in Monkey's room with his laptop watching you tube movies. he's also been caught riding on my elephant statue.
Big news here, it's snowing here! It's just mixed with rain now, but it' 100% chance!! So cross your fingers they let te kids out early, or we might have to have a dr's appt ;)

Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Now I know the odds are slim, but still it's exciting at the chance.

Meet Fred, our shelf elf.

Here he is, the kids named him Fred. He is our shelf elf. Sent here to keep an eye on the kids for Santa. He tends to be mischevious and we never know where he will emd up!


This is where he turned up this morning. Midget found him in the box of twinkies. Monkey said he had heard a noise in the night, and it must have been Fred. They cant wait to see where he will show up tomorrow!
