Busy times

These last few weeks of school are just going crazy. We've got all the teacher gifts but one taken care of. Monkey loves, loves, loves his science teacher. She is worthy too, an amazing teacher. She works part-time as a cop on top of being a teacher. So she knows how to deal with a stubborn smart kid. She has made a huge difference for him this year, and he has total respect and adoration for her :) So he picked the most beautiful bracelet for her. An odd gift for a normal teacher, but this one is priceless. Plus this is the sweetest, it's a bracelet with a big leaf, and beads. They are the colors of the rain forest, he got it because she teaches science and about the rain forest... So Sweet. I could just gush about this kid right now. Yesterday i could have pulled his hair out, but today i am gushing. :) We got his super amazing grades, and all A's. Plus a little birdie told me he might get a big award tomorrow at the assembly. I was told to make sure i am there. I will be, with bells on! we've gotten all our fans put in thanks to our favorite handyman/friend Paulie. Loves the fans! He brought the baby, and now he hates me... Thank you Paulie for making my favorite baby hate me.. It's going to take some serious bribery to win this little man back. MAking me hold him away from his daddy while he was screaming his little head off. ACK, i can't take that. He was having fun for a while with monkey on the skateboard, but the tide turned. We had field day, and midget's was super fun for her. They ran obstacle courses, and she got so tired she fell asleep on the floor at lunch! Monkey's was lame, very lame. inflatables and some ladies spraying their hair blue. Not so much, sorry monkey, i'm heading over to the fun one! He wasn't too devastated, he wanted to hang with the cool kids, not his mom. I'm ok with that :) Memorial weekend, we FINALLY got our EZ set pool. After much whining to the big man, he caved. I knew he would.. kidding, wink wink. Midget says she was the one who convinced him. Anyway, after our neighbor baling on us we called our favorite Uncle Bob. He came in exchange for brownies and burgers. He worked so hard, and it was so hot!! But we got it up, and it is so much better than the old one. The metal sides make it seem so much bigger. IT is going to bring lots of fun this summer!!! So Happy Memorial day!! We can't wait to hug our favorite veteran!!
