Christmas...

The tree..

Not sure what to do with this....

The "boys" new toy.

A new guitar!

My sweet girl, took a sock of hers, tied curly ribbon to it, and got Sheldon a new toy for his stocking :) Is that one loved cat or what?

The loot :)
The elf's mess..

Fred was here again this year, but he wasn't as creative as before, he was a bit tired it seems. But XMAS even he tied a bunch of dirty laundry across the house to the tree! Silly elf...

Pretty park

There was a free aquarium at the park too.

Yes, they were pretending to be tied to the train tracks while we waited...

The train was far, far away.... and S...L...O...W...

more rolling...

WEEEEEEE!! and more rolling...

Daddy-o - this is the arena place, nice isn't it?

McD's and a park

The kids are in there!

Sheldon relaxing on XMAS

It's over, whew. We had a different kind of Christmas. Not bad exactly, just not the usual family filled kind. It was definitely relaxing. I've discovered I prefer the crazy running around to family houses :)
The kids enjoyed playing with all their new stuff. We had gotten them some things had we been at home they wouldn't have gotten. We figure this would be the year to spoil them, and it was a bit fun doing so. We got monkey the most beautiful guitar. He was thrilled with that, and his music teacher will be also. Midget got a little keyboard, and their has been music through the house ever since. That i love! She also got a vanity desk for her room. The room is the size of texas, so she has wanted one, and her toy one was left behind. This will grown with her, and it's just so cute to watch her sit their and look at herself. Monkey's big gift, or should i say dad's big gift to monkey and himself was a helicopter. This thing flies!! It also helps with the open 3 story ceiling, not that we would allow the kids to do that, but we did :)
During the break we also found a great park, it has a huge open theater in it, and a train and some great playground equipment. I never knew how much i missed grass! It's here at parks and stuff, but not in our yard. The kids had a great time, and we got to sit in the grass and relax.
So Christmas is done, we missed home and our family. I've started counting down to the summer break, which is way to far away!! Dad is counting down to some other trip we are trying to squeeze in before hand also. Me, i am fantacizing about sonic, chik-fil-a, mom's, grammie's, grandpa. cousins, and Target!! So whoever picks us up at the airport, be ready for a fast-food run!!
Love to you all, and we miss you!

Guess who's coming??

No, not the family :) That will take some time, and convincing :) However, the final member of our immediate family, the furry ginger, will be here today, well tonight. Woohoo! My kitty kitty, sheldon. We do owe him tons of hugs and kisses, or space, whichever he prefers. Ok, he will probably prefer the space, so he will have to endure a few hugs and kisses.
Also, after being here for 2 months now, we are all having withdrawal from our favorite fast-food establishment. Chik-fil-a. Oh how i miss you chik-fil-a. For that matter, drive-thru. I guess since everything delivers, they don't need drive thru's. Sonic people, a sonic would go over really well here. Then i could have my cherry limeade. So out of desperation, i found a recipe online for both of my favorite things from home. So I think tonight we will have fast food night. Do you think i should serve them dinner in a paper bag ;)
