Royal Wedding.

Now those people know how to throw a wedding! Midget had her tea at school, sadly monkey didn't get to do anything special for the wedding. Although his form did win a trip to the bowling alley, and pizza for having the least marks on their conduct for the term. I think he preferred that to a tea anyway :)
The tea was lovely. Some of the moms brought different foods, like victorian sponge cake, egg mayo rolls, scones with jelly and cream cheese, some tea of course :) I brought tuna, which they don't do like we do in Texas :) Just tuna and mayonnaise? No eggs, no pickles, no onions, no mustard??? I got the recipe for some cucumber sandwiches, which oddly enough midget and monkey love! cucumber, cream cheese, and butter, that's it? I'm glad they are daring with their foods, and trying new things though :)
So we watched the wedding, monkey popped in and out of the room. But my sweet girl went bonkers for Harry as usual. He is quite handsome!

Getting our lesson on the proper way to make tea.
Watching the royal wedding.

  2. And please, please, please get one of your Brit friends to please explain that "Conan the Barbarian" headdress that Princess Beatrice was wearing on her head, you know the one, it looked like it was capable of picking up most local stations, I mean I understand the concept of a fascinator but that thing was just frickin' bizarre.

  3. That headpiece was the most ridiculous looking thing. Poor old Eugenie and Beatrice get is so wrong, so often.

So tell me Miss Red just how do you do your Tuna? We just do plain old Tuna and Mayo here too.

    Love cucumber sandwiches. mmm mmm.

  4. Okay, first i have to say this. It is hysterical the difference in the view of the odd headpiece! The sky news, they were saying it was fabulouos! And the designed who did posh spices, did the same one. So they thought the hats were great?! Now i can see hats being nice, but not pieces of architecture. How do you put that on and go wow,i look great! They must be the black sheep of the family, beatrice and eugenie, i mean the names alone....
And for the tuna Polly. HHMmmm. We put loads of stuff in it :), Mayo, a bit of mustard for some zip, onion powder, or a few chopped but i don't like that much in there, my mom does :), pickle relish, and hard boiled eggs chopped up. Sounds gross, but i promise it is so good!
The cucumber sandwiches were good actually :)
