Home at last, almost:)

I think the rainbow over the plane taking us home was a sign :)

After the never-ending flight, the layover in Amsterdam, and then the truly, never-ending 10 hour flight, we are home! Well, almost home. We went by our house, and it is fine, and homey and I could have kissed the ground. We stayed a couple of night with hubby's parents, which was fun. The kids were in absolute heaven. Living so close before, we never really did that. It was so much fun for them, and us actually:) We've seen all kinds of friends and family that we missed oh so much. So it's been a great week. The jet lag wasn't too bad either. Sheldon has slept with a dog even, and yesterday played with a puppy. So even he's having some fun. I think grammie and grandpa are going to be wanting a cat soon, sheldon slept with them, and grandpa seemed to like it :) He's catching up on his sleep from his flight, poor kit-teh.
So now we are at the beach house, relaxing. We've hit schliterban, played in the waves here, and sat on the patio and relaxed. I have to say waking up and sitting on a chaise lounge watching the waves, it's a good way to start the day!

How odd is that? This guy was just laying up there on the back of the couches? Not not on the couches..

Now the beach...

here's the view from the balcony..

After lugging the bag, the towels and all the beach stuff, dropping it on the way... I had been passed by the effectient mom who was walking so fast her kids couldn't keep up. I was thinking "wow, she's a pro".. Well, i found a wagon in our garage :)
This is what long days at the beach do to kids :)

P.S. My camera battery is dead, so i need to get a charger... I've got tons of pics on hubby's phone. But no idea of how to get them off there! So I'll post more then...
